Privacy policy

Which personal data this website processes, why, for how long, and what your rights are.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of personal data on this website is DGTUP JOVI KOMPANI DOOEL Strumica, "Nikola Tesla" bb, 2400 Strumica, North Macedonia, phone +389 34 340 737. For questions about data protection and the rights described below, write to kontakt@jovikompani.mk.

2. Data collected automatically

When you open our website, your browser technically sends data that the server records:

  • date and time of the visit
  • the page you open and the server's response
  • the page you came from
  • type and version of your browser and operating system
  • your IP address, shortened: without its last part (for IPv6, only the first three groups)

The server's error records may contain the full IP address. This data is used only to run the website safely and is not linked to a person. The server is with our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, in the EU (Ireland), and the records are deleted after fourteen (14) days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a safe and reliable website, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Contact form

When you write to us through the form on the Contact page, we process the data you enter: name, email, phone and subject (if you enter them) and your message.

We use it to reply and to make you an offer, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and for general questions Article 6(1)(f). Your message is delivered to us by email at kontakt@jovikompani.mk through Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) and is not stored on the website. For each message sent, the server records a single line: date and time, the type of form, the shortened IP address, whether the message was sent, and the domain of your email address (the part after @), without your name or message. We keep your message in our mailbox as long as we need it to reply and complete your request.

4. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

We protect the form against spam and abuse with Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Turnstile is loaded only on the page with the form and checks that a person is filling it in; for this it processes technical data about your browser and device, including your IP address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. More: Cloudflare Turnstile privacy.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website uses no tracking cookies, analytics or advertising, and loads nothing from other servers except Turnstile on the page with the form. The fonts are on our own server. Turnstile may store technical data in your browser while you use the form, only to tell people from automated programs.

6. Processors

We use the following service providers, contractually bound to process the data only for us:

  • Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL: hosting the website and delivering the form's messages, in the EU (Ireland)
  • Cloudflare, Inc.: spam protection of the form (Turnstile)
  • Google Ireland Limited: our email (kontakt@jovikompani.mk), where the form's messages arrive

Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023, Article 45 GDPR). We give data to authorities only when the law requires it.

7. How long we keep data

  • Server records, including the record of messages sent: 14 days
  • Messages from the form: as long as needed to reply and complete the request

Longer only when the law requires it, or to establish and defend legal claims.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access to the data we hold about you (Article 15 GDPR), to rectification (Article 16), to erasure (Article 17), to restriction of processing (Article 18), to data portability (Article 20) and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Article 21). Write to kontakt@jovikompani.mk.

9. Right to complain

You can complain to the supervisory authority: Personal Data Protection Agency, bul. Goce Delchev 18, 1000 Skopje, North Macedonia, phone +389 2 3230 635, info@privacy.mk, dzlp.mk.
